Overview
OPlanner should be fairly straightforward to use for those people who have used OCAD, although it is a little overcomplicated in places.
Tools
Most tools should be straightforward to use. Some of the less obvious features are noted below.
Course Objects vs Normal Objects
Some objects only make sense when added to a course and some objects will only be applicable to one course.
Therefore you have the option of creating some object for one course only.
Most objects can also be added to specific courses by unticking the "Display on all Courses" box.
This is currently a little overcomplicated.
Drawing Objects
Objects which are drawn have two drawing modes - freehand and straight line (which also allows curves).
These modes are located under tool options.
Measure Distance Tool
This does not create a permanent object, but allows you to measure distances.
Transparent Area
This allows you to create a break in a control circle or line over an area of important detail.
